LEGAL AGREEMENT
Declaration
I wish to become a member of CycleZone and I hereby undertake to abide by all the rules of the club, to know and adhere to the RULES OF THE ROAD and to abide by all the decisions of the Executive Committee.
Indemnity
I hereby release the CycleZone Cycling Club ("the Club") from any and all liability, of whatever kind or nature that may arise from my Participation in the activities of the Club. In signing this release for myself, or for a member of my family or for a minor or ward is under the age of 18, I acknowledge and agree that I understand the intent hereof, and hereby agree for myself, my successors in interest, my agents, my heirs and my estate to absolve and hold harmless the Club, its members, its managers, its Board of Directors and its Officers and each and every one of its sponsors, whoever they might be from time to time, and any other parties connected with activities sponsored by the Club, in any way whatsoever, singly, separately, collectively, jointly and severally, from and against any blame, liability, or responsibility of kind or nature, for any injury, misadventure, harm, loss, inconvenience or damage suffered or sustained as a result of my participation in said activities run by, sponsored by, or conducted by the Club. I
further consent hereby to and permit emergency medical treatment in the event of injury or illness. I shall abide by any rules or directions of the Club, or its Directors or Officers. I shall abide, at all times, by traffic laws and regulations and practice courtesy and safety in cycling. I understand and agree that it is the policy of the Club that I will wear, at all times I am cycling, an ANSI or SNELL approved helmet. I agree that I will cause any guest accompanying me to also wear such a helmet when cycling. By signing this application, I acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Release and Agreement of Member in every respect without any exception whatsoever. It is my intent by signing this document to waive all rights of action against the Club. I also agree to conduct myself as an appropriate representative of the Club and its sponsors in my cycling activities and will wear the cycle club outfit at all club events and races to guarentee all sponsors maximin exposure.
If the applicant is under 18 the following section must be completed.
I/We being the parent/parents/legal guardian of the applicant having read and understood the above declaration, agree to being boundbyallitsclausesontheapplicantsbehalfandgivemy/ourconsentforthe applicant to participate in the activities of CycleZone Cycling Club. I am satisfied that my son/daughter is sufficiently responsible and experienced to assume full and entire responsibility for his/her own safety whilst engaged in cycling activities on the public highway.
